Gary’s expertise in advisory, risk and insurance sectors has guided the evolution of innovative risk protection solutions specifically tailored to meet the changing needs of today’s public sector organisations. He has worked with insurance markets in London, Asia and Australia during a 30-plus-year career and his approach has been trailblazing. He assists government, business and not-for-profits across the region to move beyond traditional approaches and to take control of their own outcomes. This has resulted in stronger risk management, including cooperative self-insurance options, and improved claims management results. Gary is also leading conversations on disaster vulnerability and resilience with the region’s public sector and the insurance profession.
He became a Director of JLT Australia back in March 2010 and is now Head of JLT Public Sector – Pacific, part of our Marsh McLennan Group of Companies. He is Vice President of Australia’s National Insurance Brokers Association and holds a number of Board positions. He is a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker.
